Not sure of the exact location from where I took this photo but industry pictured
will probably give it away to local folks. Perhaps Sacramento?
From rear of #6 as I recall.

This view is on the SP mainline between the Sacramento depot and Elvas at a location known as Haggin. The SN job is on the "3rd Rail" as it was knonw back then, and has probably just came out of the WP/SN Haggin yard headed West towards West Sacramento.

I live just 3 blocks from there.  You'd never know the SN was there except that a bike trail crosses the American River on the old SN bridge.
