For those interested, the roundhouse sat on Lemay Avenue, the east side, just about where the current Culver's Restaurant is located.

Interesting info, I looked up the Culver's Restaurant in Ft Collins on google maps and recognize the location fron long ago visits, no idea what had been there or the extent of the UP operations until reading similar info posts on TO. Good stuff.

Yes, the original article's photo caption has the dates in there, way before my railfanning days.
