Enjoyed seeing the old RF&P freight pics, especially the fourth shot with the two E8's.

In pic four the two middle engines are 1000 class E8 A-units.  You can see the fireman's cab windows and the four porthole windows on the side.  I spent many nights working on those engines on the Silver Star.  I also worked on a few of the ex-RF&P E8 B-units  that SCL owned.  They were good engines.
