A few days ago Ritzville posted a series of photos that included San Francisco Muni's PCC 1034 taken well before Sept 21-22 1982.  I referred to it on a post in that thread, and commented on the fact that 1034 was the last PCC to run on Market, thus ending what at that time had been called as "End Of An Era" because streetcars had operated continously on Muni since the early 1900's.  No one anticipated the Historic Trolley Festivals to come, nor the subsequent Market Street Railway organization. 
I finally found the video of 1034 that night and posted it here.  Not easily seen is the long line of people waiting to catch a cable car across the street on Powell.  Of course this was recorded using 1982 camcorder technology...
