UP's Cheyenne Yd: more to photograph than steady stream of trains
Author: valmont

The access available to the UP yard in Cheyenne back then provided a variety of photo opportunities, if your camera wasn't always pointing at the main line! Here are 2 examples I found on 4/17/83 in ... I found many more over the years.

Wow! Wood sheathing and arch-bar trucks! That's a find even back in the day :-)

I’m guilty of just pointing at the main line. Thanks for the guilt trip and great photos!

What happened to the Waycars? I would imagine even in 83 those were dinosaurs that should have been headed to a museum. Or did UP put a match to them?
