Nostalgia & History > ATSF 3751 EastDate: 09/17/23 11:27 ATSF 3751 East Author: rattenne Santa Fe 4-8-4 No. 3751 simmers in the chill winter air on the evening of December 28, 1991 in Bakersfield Calif. The train off to the right is an Amtrak San Joaquin. This Day 2 of a four day trip between LA and Bakersfield which yielded (for me) miles and miles of great photos. Steam over Cajon Pass AND Tehachapi - what could be better? Having a pair of Red Warbonnet FP45s tucked in behind the 3751.

Some of the steam purists here on Train Orders would not agree with your last sentence. Date: 09/18/23 04:47 Re: ATSF 3751 East Author: atsf121 Awesome photo. Still can't believe we missed this, we had been at my Grandpa's in Bakersfield that week and had no clue this was happening.
