They may just cut off from all the cars ahead, then, if all goes well with the re-rail, not even do any paper work. Now if that covered hopper had overturned, it would be a far different story.

IIRC this was one of CNW's last derailments before the UP takeover. First, the CNW one, then a rail rolled over under the Santa Fe units as they passed on a little-used track.
