1. A w/b UP train was led by C40-8W #9368, built 1//90.
2. An e/b AT&SF TOFC train was led by GP39-2u #3409, built 1//75 as GP39-2 #3619, rebuilt 1//87, to BNSF #2778, + GP35u #2825, built 4//64 as GP35 #1325, rebuilt 11//82, to BNSF/LTEX #2525.
3. AT&SF SDF40-2 #5255 was built 7//73 as AMTK SDP40F #526, to BNSF #6965.

Summit, Cajon Pass, California, 12/29/90
4. An e/b AT&SF train was led by GP50 #3828, built 3//81, to BNSF #3181.
5. An e/b UP empty coal train was led by SD60M #6243, built 10//90, renumbered #2403 1/14/03, + C40-8 #9229, built 10//88.
6. The w/b Amtrak Desert Wind was led by F40PHR #282, built 4//78 with parts from SDP40F #503.

7. AT&SF e/b and w/b trains met.
8. The e/b Amtrak Desert Wind was led by F40PHR #245, built 9//77, later SLRG road slug #245.
Santa Clause Lane, Carpinteria, California, 12/31/90
9. A w/b SP double stack train scurried along the beach led by SD40T-2 #8564, built 2//79.

Very nice set!  The favorites for me are the Desert Wind shots.
