Nostalgia & History > Friday Forties, UP varietyDate: 01/09/25 22:55 Friday Forties, UP variety Author: jgilmore All in UP paint when photographed but of various heritages...
1) Former MP units lead a TOFC train WB on the Little Rock Sub somewhere in Arkansas (maybe Hope?) in the late 80s. Off to the side is a local with more MP units waiting to move around. 2) Longtime UP 40-2 heads west for its original owner on the triple track somewhere in NE, a late-evening view in 1999. 3) Ex-CNW unit is WB on the Council Bluffs Sub somewhere west of Omaha, also in 1999.
