Nostalgia & History > Another Baltimore Streetcar MemoryDate: 02/06/25 08:37 Another Baltimore Streetcar Memory Author: ClubCar The Baltimore Transit Company had a streetcar line that went across North Avenue from Walbrook Junction in west Baltimore and over to Milton Avenue in east Baltimore with some cars like the one pictured that went south to Wolfe and Aliceanna Streets near Fells Point. This line crossed over many other lines that operated north and south in Baltimore City and attracted many riders. Unknown photographer shows the car on North Avenue heading east. The National City Lines Bus Company got their way and converted the line to bus operation on January 10, 1954, again with many transit riders protesting, but to no avail as the bus company was determined to get rid of all the streetcar lines period.
