Nostalgia & History > NH #1383 had a problem late 1940sDate: 03/10/25 21:21 NH #1383 had a problem late 1940s Author: choochoochas New Haven I-4 pacific #1383 at the Waterbury CT. roundhouse taken by my Father Harry R. Lange. Notice at the front of the locomotive there is an open space caused by the locomotive breaking through the roundhouse wall. Unfortunately nothing on the negative sleeve to indicate the cause of the loco moving forward without stopping before hitting the wall.
