Couple of Denver Shots 2009

I was up in Denver in February 2009 for a couple days and wanted to look around areas that I hadn't explored yet.  Found a DRGW Wreck train parked near North Yard and a few UP yard engines over in their yard just north of downtown.

Actually, I think the Rio Grande wreck train was parked near the Burnham locomotive shop.  In any case, it was in Denver.  So I've added a grab shot of a mess of UP and a few SP engines stored at he shop.  Not a great photo but an  interesting scene.

That was a great time for Burnham operations. Anschutz was still operating out of the coach shop and the locomotive shop was in full swing.

Well covered - Look at all the stored locomotives in your last photo.
