Nostalgia & History > F-unit Friday: CN in JasperDate: 04/11/25 08:01 F-unit Friday: CN in Jasper Author: santafe199 Still finding F-units half way through the 70s!
1. CN 9174 at Jasper, AB on October 2, 1975. Original Kodachrome trader slide by Dick Stephenson, from the late James W. Watson collection. Thanks for looking back! Lance Garrels santafe199 Date: 04/11/25 09:11 Re: F-unit Friday: CN in Jasper Author: Chico56 👍👍👍

Interesting info! And a logical explanation for why F units would still be around in 1975… Posted from iPhone Date: 04/11/25 22:51 Re: F-unit Friday: CN in Jasper Author: feclark santafe199 Wrote:

Also served on the Prairies, some in Ontario (Nanticoke steel train was maybe the most famous example), and some with shrouds for plow service. Fred Edited 1 time(s).
