MAC Monday.

On May 18, 2002 at Dayton's Bluff in St. Paul, Minnesota.  A pair of BN SD70MAC locomotives in the executive Grinstein paint scheme lead an eastbound manifest GFDGAL (Grand Forks, North Dakota to Galesburg, Illinois).  The SD70MAC locomotives were designed and built for coal service but occasionally were used in general freight.

Thanks for postiing, Ron.  This was a reflection of BN's almost continual power shortage because of the Powder River Basin.  If MACs were all they had at the engine house, that's what tey used.
