Steam on Sunday (vol 12): No steam, but lots of water!

This double sided water tank is in the north part of the yard at Marysville, KS. The line on the left is the regular mainline heading toward North Platte and on the right is the line up to Omaha/Council Bluffs via Lincoln, NE. Note the man posing on the tower...

1. UP mainline jct point in the yard at Marysville, KS circa 1890s(?).

Looks good to me. Just maintain 3 points of contact and you should be ok.

It looks like the guy on the tank has a rifle. Perhaps standing guard over the water in the tank, danged water theives.

Nice post. Track and tank look pretty primative. Certainly before the E H Harriman era.
