Here’s some steam on Sunday, since my regular series thread had no train... The caption for slide #12: “Nos. 1701 and 1705 on a ski train at Rocky, Colo, Feb 1, 1952.” Steam action, in color. Well done, Mr Kindig! :^)

1. D&RGW 1701 leads a ski train near Rocky, CO on February 10, 1952.

They'll get some snow on the other side of the divide on the west end of the tunnel. Location appears to be close to JMM's house 50 years later. Thank you for the post.
