Santa Fe ticket envelope with stubs
Author: gcm

Looks like a Temple,Tx-Abany Pullman roundtrip at Christmas in 1948.
Paid and stamped at the Santa Fe station in Temple.
This was the time of the new Texas Chief and I don't think that train had sections so the Temple-Chicago portion may have been on the Ranger.

The Santa Fe "Indian" series sleepers were 24 Duplex Roomette Pullmans, later rebuilt into 11 Double Bedroom cars in the 1960s.  Perhaps the ticket was for assigned space in an "Indian" sleeper, for the first segent to Chicago?
