Well, it had to happen. I posted my usual ‘Steam on Sunday’ series thread first thing today. Then in my 2nd thread I tossed up some more steam. And now in my semi-regular ‘Gildersleeve classics’ thread here’s a third steam image. (Maybe you steam fans should have bought yourselves some lotto tickets last night… :^)

Back to the topic! In set 187 the caption for slides #25 and #26 reads: “Scenes at Waynoka, Oklahoma, July 4, 1955.” Once again there is no specific engine number to compare this image with. But that’s what I’ll go with unless some has a better argument…

1. AT&SF 4-8-4 3767 is in Waynoka, OK(?) on July 4, 1955(?)
