Then and now - Tower 17 site

Both shots with the eastbound Sunset Limited in Rosenberg,Tx and looking in the same direction.
The first one (Feb 1978) crossing the Santa Fe at Tower 17.
Over 47 years later, the Sunset still crosses the ex-Santa Fe (10/12/25) but the area is a lot different looking.
The cabinets to the left of the tracks was the tower location.
Still a very busy spot today.

1978 was a lot longer train it seems.
