Thanks for posting, Ron.  Yes, the firsst train is a CP tain taking the former GN to University to get back on it's own tracks.  This was a result of the Soo's take over of the Milwaukee.  The two roads didn't connect in the Twin Cities and they got rights on the BN to make the connection.  The UP train was probably headed to the former Omaha's Western Avenue yard and later,Shakopee.  There were a lot of what looked to be cement hoppers in the train, but I don't know where they were going.

Thanks Ron.  You learn something new every day.  This life long D&H fan never knew one of their GP39-2's ended up on UP.

Yup: https://utahrails.net/up-diesel-roster/up-diesel-roster-27.php#gp39-2-1229.  The entire group was subsequently sold to WAMX in the 2012-2013 time frame and scattered to various WATCO operations, some on Wisconsin Southern, Blue Ridge Southern, Kansas & Oklahoma, etc.
