The #100 still exists.  It was rebuilt from the Pullman heavyweight Plan #3410 12 section-1 drawing room sleeper Thompson, which had been built in March 1925 in Lot #4845 for assignment to the GN's Oriental Limited.  It was sold to the CGW at the Pullman divestiture on 12/31/1948 and leased to Pullman, was pulled from sleeper service in May 1950, and subsequently rebuilt to the #100.  It went to the C&NW via merger, was subsequently renumbered to their #401 (2nd), and was used as a track geometry car.  It was renumbered in 1981 to #403, was named Minnesota in circa 1985-1986, went to the UP via merger, and was subsequently resold to the North Carolina DOT.  It was planned for renumbering/renaming as RNCX #400000 (1st) Governor John "Motey" Morehead, but instead was resold again, this time to Nelson McGahee as his PPCX #29/#800029 Dearing.  It is now located on the Heart of Georgia/SAM Shortline.

The 99 also still exists and has resided at the Illinois Railway Museum since 1967.

What is the history of the car appearing in photo 4?

Former MILW prewar lightweight 48 seat chair, homebuilt at the Menominee Shops in Milwaukee in 1934, and sold to the CGW in 1961.  CGW acquired two of these from the Milwaukee Road; MILW #4410 as CGW #200, and MILW #4416 as CGW #201.  Both only lasted several years on the CGW, as they were resold in 1965 to the Michigan RR Club.

My thanks to you both for confirming the MILW heritage of the car in photo 4.   Looks like it would have been a nice addition back in the day with one of their streamlined 4-6-2's.
