A Monday Montana Meet in Missoula

Hmmm, running out of alliterative captions for the letter "M". Maybe somebody from Sesme Street can do a rescue?

Here we are at the west end of the Missoula, MT yard in the summer of 2022, in a sea of tank cars. The Gas Local is putting his empty train together in the yard, while a BNSF train of Bakken oil loads waits for a recrew.

I like anything from Missoula! I spent the first 4 of my 19 MRL years working out of there. Pretty cool town for a single RRer, 32-36 years old… 😎

Not a bad place either, for a late 20s geologist a few years earlier (1982-85).
