Nostalgia & History > Chicago Great Western Had 2 Steamers Numbered 232Date: 11/03/25 18:45 Chicago Great Western Had 2 Steamers Numbered 232 Author: MartyBernard Different wheel arrangements, different manufactors, but for 15 years the roster data (next) says they had the same number. The roster gives no hint of a number change.
1. CGW 232 2-6-2 Alco built June 1902 and sold 1930. Walt Dunlap Collection 2. CGW 232 4-6-0 Baldwin built March 1899 and scrapped Sept. 1917. Walt Dunlap Collection Edited 1 time(s). Very few roads rostered any 2-6-2s.
Thanks for that enlightening post. Gonut |
