3 More Chicago Great Western Steamers
Author: MartyBernard

1. CGW 2-8-2 715 Baldwin April 1916 sold Jan. 1959 and seen in St. Paul May 26, 1948.  Walt Dunlap collection

2. CGW 606 2-6-6-2 Baldwin built Oct. 1910 sold April 1916.  A postcard.  Walt Dunlap collection

3. A CGW originally built by Cooke as 4-4-0 #12 in Feb. 1885.  Seen here in St. Paul as #1, a 2-4-4-T (T stands for a Tank for water instead of having a Tender for both coal and water. Coal rides in a bid behind the cab) in 1899.  Walt Dunlap Collection.

Definitely NOT a 2-8-2. That is a 2-6-6-2 compound.
