Didn't Amtrak 103 and 104 spend their last days working the Empire Builder, trains 7 and 8-?

What a shame as with the many problems that Amtrak has today with their engines, some proper maintenance and some upgrades and these old workhorses would be better than what they have now, the junk that constantly breaks down.  So sad to see all the cancellations of trains due to no engines available.
