A Friday F on the Rio Grande

The steam heat car is giving off a bit of excess steam as the westbound Rio Grande Zephyr rounds a curve at Pinecliffe, CO. Spring of 1981.

That's an awesome winter photo not to mention the subject by itself.
I was able to find Pinecliffe but no photos for me that day.

This vantage point is from a one-car pull off on the road up to Pinecliffe. I literally found it by accident-some buddies and I were heading up Coal Creek for a music performance, and a bunch of us needed to pee. Well, look over the edge and you see that you have a urinal with a view.

Love the thread title! And THE classic Rio Grande F is the subject, which never gets old! Not to mention this is a killer shot! 😎
