1. An e/b Amtrak San Juaquin on AT&SF was led by F40PHR #326, built 10//79 with parts from SDP40F #619.
2. UP SD60M #6099, built 1//89, renumbered #2254 2/2/05, led an e/b train on ex-WP crossing AT&SF.

3. Central California Traction GP18 #1790, built 2//60 as CRI&P #1790, +
4. caboose #24 were tied down.
5. SP GP9R #3382, built 5//56 as T&NO GP9 #435, renumbered #3557, rebuilt 6//73, shoved a transfer e/b on AT&SF across UP, ex-WP, to the AT&SF yard.

6 – 8. A UP train led by GP40s #674, built 6//68 as PC #3114, to CR #3114, to MKT #239, to UP #674 6/23/89, renumbered #9956 8/18/00, + #681, built 9//68 as PC #3152, to CR #3152, to MKT #246, to UP #681 2/1/91, renumbered #9963 4/14/00, crossed from e/b on AT&SF to w/b on UP, ex-WP, and went into the ex-WP yard.
This was a trackage rights train that was originally granted to WP to compensate for the abandonment of the Sacramento Northern (owned by WP) trackage connecting to trackage in the Pittsburg/Antioch area.

10. Trona (TRC) SD40-2Rs #3004, built 5//74 as AT&SF SD45-2 #5714, rebuilt to TRC SD40-2R #3004, later HLCX SD40M-2 #6246/#6411, + #3003, built 5//74 as AT&SF SD45-2 #5710, rebuilt to TRC SD40-2R #3003, later HLCX SD40M-2 #6243/#6408, to GTI/MEC #617, to LTEX, + 1 more.

Stockton Tower used to be such a great place to hang out - in the daylight.  You didn't want to be there at night.
The tower gave great shade on hot days and sometimes the tower operator would invite us up to see the controls.  Lots of good times were had there.
