They didn't scatter the U30B's much, into storage in Stockton and then SLC before that one way trip to the scrap yard. At least the U23B's survived by being rebuilt into Super 7's. Have photos of a huge deadline of green U-boats in Portola just after the merger. Possibly a slow march east. Cool photo. t4p. |
