Warbonnet Wednesday.
Author: hank

In the spring of 1992 a trio of Santa Fe Warbonnet B40-8W locomotives work a westbound intermodal shortly after crew change at the depot in Ft. Madison, Iowa.  Location is near MP 237 and a couple miles west of Ft. Madison, Iowa.

Thanks for viewing.

*sigh*

I miss the S-3L.  It wasn't a great horn, but it was the "voice" of Santa Fe's Super Fleet GE's.  Kind of like SP fans getting sentimental over new cast P3's...
