Burlington northern had a lease of 100 General Electric  LMX B39-8e locomotives and owned 120 General Electric B30-7a cabless locomotives.  These units were frequently ran together to make for the classic BN lash up as shown in my first video clip.  The train was likely a Northtown, Minnesota to Galesburg, Illinois manifest.  First video clip showing the power and half of the train as they are coming off the Barstow sub and about to enter the yard at Galesburg, Illinois.  Second video clip shows the rear half of the train of some 110 cars in October 1991.

Thanks for showing the entire train. The cars are more interesting to me than the power these days, really helpful for modeling.
