A Metroliner for Monday

Shamelessly borrowing Marty's thread idea (see https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?11,6145917), here we have a Washington-bound Metroliner scooting past PC GG1 4879 with what was likely a Jersey Shore commuter train, stopped to discharge passengers at Elizabeth NJ.  Original Kodachrome taken 12/22/1974 by Vincent J. Benkovitz, my collection.

Nice memories and photo Mike.  There's a good chance 12 year old me was with my Uncle Vincent this day as it was a Saturday and most likely the first day off from school for Christmas break.
