Did the Apple Blossom Special train cross the Potomac of Shenandoah River in this photo?  Was the date of this special April 13, 1970?

That train is still crossing over the Potomac River from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia to where it will join the main line of the B&O and go into Maryland through a tunnel just on the other side of the river.  Another historic photo also.

Great shot !   Is the last RDC at right the former AT&SF car that the B&O picked up ?

Yes that is the ex-Santa Fe DC-191.  Any blue and gold cab is the one and only.  On the PATrains the ex-Santa Fe DC-191 is the one and only with a red cab.  Easy to fine our Santa Fe DC-191.
