Nostalgia & History > A Rock Island Scene - JolietDate: 04/08/26 11:33 A Rock Island Scene - Joliet Author: refarkas (From a Damaged Negative) Mike Ondecker and I are at the Rock Island engine facility in Joliet, Illinois on October 15, 1972. Notice the Rock Island commuter train in the background. Cut off to the right was Rock Island 630 which was the last operating EMD E6A.

Date: 04/08/26 13:39 Re: A Rock Island Scene - Joliet Author: Milwaukee I too would like to see some additional photos of the Rock Island's Joliet yard and/or engine terminal. I've not see a photo taken from the angle you provided here so thanks for salvaging the photo and for sharing it with us here.
