texchief1 Date: 04/12/26 22:55 Re: Santa Fe Sunday Author: Evan_Werkema Could you double-check the date? The GP60's are all from the second order delivered in the summer of 1989, with the fourth unit, 4034, having an August 1989 build date. It's hard to believe it accumulated that much road grime in just one month. Also, all three GP60's would have been delivered with amber beacons centered above the cab but are missing them in the video. The Santa Fe started pulling beacons some time in the second half of 1989 and more or less had them all gone two years later, but it would have been unusual to see a consist with every unit missing its beacon as early as 9/89.
