Nostalgia & History > U50C for a western locationDate: 05/06/26 08:25 U50C for a western location Author: santafe199 Information is very sketchy here! Another classic Uncle Pete consist, needing some location help.
1. UP 5028 near Sullivan's Curve, CA* probably in the late 1970s. Copy slide in the late James W. Watson collection, photographer unknown. Thanks for the location help! Closest map location would be Cajon Junction at the intersection of I-15 and Hwy 138.

This seems to make the most sense. Although I have to admit it's possible, I've never seen anyone use "Cajon Junction" for an actual RR location. I'll go with Sullivan's Curve since the rear part of the train has just come around it. Thanks gang... :^) Lance Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/07/26 11:46 by santafe199.
