Picasa do-over (vol #66): crew change at night
Author: santafe199

I’ve got my tripod set up underneath the alcove at the Emporia passenger depot. The first time I photo-edited this image I was strangely reluctant to lighten it up too much. I put that down to inexperience. Years later, I like my second version much better…

1. AT&SF 3618 leads train 329 H-1 during the crew change at Emporia, KS on May 8, 1978. HP scan Picasa editing.

2. Same as above scanned with Epson and re-edited in Photoshop.

Thanks for looking again!

That is so impressive!  I wonder how many Rock Island slides I discarded could have been rescued.  By you, of course . . . .

Well, I sure appreciate the sentiment! But I gotta be honest: If I can learn to use Photoshop like this, anyone can learn to use Photoshop like this...
