Like my shots last week of the MKT, my railfan ventures hardly ever intersected with the Missouri Pacific, except on a couple of cross-country trips.    Here are my few MoPac shots for this Monday.

1) MP GP38-2 #2014 leads another Geep across a diamond in Wichita KS on 8/23/1975.  I think this train was crossing the Santa Fe, and my guess is it's a westbound.  I'm betting Lance will know!
2) MP GP35 #2502 and GP38-2 #2106 lead a southbound train along the Mississippi River banks in St Louis MO in May 1976.    Unfortunate shadow from the bridge above!.
3) A cut of SD-40s encountered in Chicago from the vestibule of the Mountaineer/JW Riley in May 1975.

4)  MP GP-9 #1808 in a very weedgrown yard in Fredonia KS in May 1976.

No. 3 is just south of 40th St. interlocking on the C&WI.

Picture 1 in Wichita, my dad and his two brothers during summer break during high school worked on building the Pillsbury elevator in the background, they spent their time moving concrete in wheelbarrows.  Good muscle tone and suntans.
