Arkansas and Missouri in 1987.
Author: hank

In the Fall of 1987 Arkansas and Missouri railroad with three of their immaculate Alco locomotives working north crossing the Arkansas river bridge (x Frisco).  The train had departed Ft. Smith, Arkansas and crosses the Union Pacific diamond and heads thru Van Buren, Arkansas.  Their wooden combine brings up the rear.

Nice video !    A&M grabbed quite a few  C420''s  from Guilford  . Most were  LV, then D&H  in 1976 ;  I think A&M  picked up  G./D&H 420 ,, the former L&HR  unit that the D&H had .

Neat video, and the combine is quite an interesting touch. Thanks for posting.

IIRC, the passenger car is a former Boston & Maine.

I believe that at one time, the A&M had at least one C420 of Monon lineage. If so, does anyone know if it still exists?
