Almost sixty Years Ago - PC 1788

(Redo) It is 1968 or 1969 at Penn Central's Collinwood Yard in Cleveland, Ohio, and PC 1788, NYC 1840 look like they have just arrived with their train. To the left near the shop building are lines of out-of-service locomotives. How strange it is to think this was the way it was back then.

Sixty years ago or 1966 does not seem that long ago. Neat look back I am guessing most of the shop buildings are gone. Bill Webb

Nice ;piece of history there.  Train could very well be one of the local "pullers" that commonly used F units into the early 70s.
