So much to see here that no longer exsists.
Around 15 regular weekday freights on the SP Commute Route for starts.
I study these old 8mm to DVD segments all the time to get SP modeling ideas.
Most recently, friend created SP GP9 3421 for me that you can get a quick
glance of at Bayshore in this clip.(T&NO passenger unit, red wings on both ends).
Tom passed two years ago and I was in brief contact with his wife who told me
there is a huge collection of Tom's slides in a big box at their house that I could
review from 1960e, early 1970s, but despite numerous efforts, I've not been able
to make contact with her again.

That extra-tall Bayshore signal that we see at the end --
wonder how long that was there. It only shows up
in pics now and then -- wasn't there in the 50s,
wasn't there in the 70s.

I see it in pictures dates 1939-1949 and also found a photo of a Train Master passing it. A 1975 photo from above the tunnel portal shows the signal gone.
