of 5900's. Too bad it was poor weather, I don't know how many times four Kodachromes, all the same model,were the only power up the hill. Taken 2-15-86, by Ken Ardinger. Good shot because of course you got a solid lash-up of Shouldn't Paint So Fast cowl units and because you also got a typical 80's intermodal train with lots of 45' trailers in tow! Been a while since I have seen a train of almost all 45' trailers...

There is extra room behind the radiator grilles for where the steam generator once was. Until I was shown this spotting feature, I could not tell an SDP-40F from an F-45 since they otherwise look identical.
