AFT 4449 and the American Freedom Train ... photographer/location (suspect California) unknown, my collection.

Yes, I believe it was shot in California too. The signal shows number plate 932 so it was taken somewhere near milepost 93.2.

Here is a trivial fact...Did you know that Mr. ChooChooDriver was probably on this train at this time? I know he was a member of the crew and traveled all around the country with the train. Tell us Dale...Were you on here at the time the photo was taken? I'll bet you were.

Steamjocky, This was taken somwhere up the valley, but within 2 weeks of this shot, I got hired in the Operations Dept. and the rest was a 1 year blur.
