Here's the Rio Grande 3124 when new, passing through Provo on an eastbound manifest. I was chasing trains on a Schwinn 3-speed "Racer" in those days. Note the GP9 at right returning to Provo from Geneva Works. I wonder what happened to that old Schwinn bike? Or the Rio Grande 3124 for that matter. Any truth to that??
