Question for those knowledgeable on UP's F-3's and F-7'
Author: ATSF100WEST

Did the red seperating stripe above the air intake grills (along the edge of the roof line), come to a hyperbola curved point on the roof center, or was it straight, or ?????

If you have a down-on image or two, or a link to a website, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Bob

According to a paint diagram in a 1950s Model Railroader( copied from DuPont /EMD specs). The red stripe seperating the grey roof and yellow body curved to a point stopping at the leading edge of the dynamic brake grid / blower box located just behind the airhorns.
Need a scan of the diagram? Send me your email.
