Westbound passing the UP station -- back when it was "exciting" to see a UP train.
By the way -- a group in Laramie has been restoring the depot to the way it was in the 30's.
They hope to have it completed soon.

Were these taken from the footbridge over the yard? I haven't been to Laramie for 20 years- I was wondering if it was still there.

Yup, footbridge - same one, unchanged - and when doublestacks breeze under it, and you're on top over it, you'd swear they're going to hit the bridge - kind of a rush! -- -- JLH
