Having never seen that type of operation before, that was interesting . . . thanks for shooting from an elevated position to get a better perspective. I find it curious that it is still a bit labour intensive . . . you would think they figure out how to run the plates down the chutes without using a total of seven men on the sorting/dropping function. Reminds me of off-bearing from a plywood mill green chain back in the 60's on my summer job when I was going to college !
