Railfan Gaming > MSTS Track ElevationDate: 08/19/04 09:56 MSTS Track Elevation Author: Sabe189 I have not been able to get into the MSTS forum due to firewall problems so I will ask for help here. I am laying a new line based on track charts and I need a specific elevation for each streach of the way. The problem is, that the elevation indicater is
+3.00 to -3.00 but I don't think that is the true setting for the slope. How do I get (as an example) a 0.89 grade? Date: 08/21/04 06:18 Re: MSTS Track Elevation Author: geoffm MSTS gradients/elevations do not match anything used in railways/railroads...
But this should help: http://www.railpage.org.au/steam4me/trainsim/tutorials/track.html#grad Also, a little tool I wrote which will change the grade for you in MSTS (Poker): http://www.simsig.co.uk/msts/ (doesn't work on Windows ME) Geoff M. |
