Canadian Railroads > Winter pictures?Date: 01/17/12 15:54 Winter pictures? Author: hoggerdoug Aw, what the heck, lots of great "winter" shots over on the other boards, maybe us Canucks ought to post some of our favorites as well, after all isn't Canada the "Great White North". Lets see your shots of winter. Hey BCOL 4601 has a great shot of the BCOL 4601 slogging up Alexandria.
These pictures were taken at Dunkly BC, train 470, Nov 3, 2007, ah told my Conductor that I had to make a "nature break" during our switching moves there, I had to chuckle when I got back in the cab, over the radio "once you are finished taking your "foamer pictures" you can backup anytime you are ready, it's f@#k%ng cold out here, OVER". I was certainly glad that I'd quit smoking about five years before then, because I certainly didn't envy the smokers who were freezing their butts on the platform while I sat in the Park car with a hot coffee!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,8>)
