Canadian Railroads > MLW Monday - CN's Take on Switcher Plus SlugDate: 01/09/17 20:38 MLW Monday - CN's Take on Switcher Plus Slug Author: feclark Last week kgmontreal posted a CP switcher/slug (booster) combo. Here's CN S-13 302 (class MY-10r; former 8602) and slug 353 (class MY-00a because no horsepower of its own; former 311, B12, and originally S-3 8494; all info from TSG 1984) working Taschereau Yard in Montreal, September 14, 1985. You have to love the plume. I always liked the S-13, with its two-stage side sill, fat stack set out front, and the flatter roof profile. Distinctly MLW, not just a Canadian-made Alco.
