And a Couple More for Today
Author: MartyBernard

Roger Puta, May 1982. Roger's noted on the Logan Box "CN Yellowhead Pass".  That probably means in and around the pass.

1. CN 6235 meets 5149

2. CN unknown

Thanks,
Marty Bernard

The first picture looks to be further east than Redpass Jct. My suggestion is the east switch at Moose Lake. The lake in this picture is definitely Moose Lake. This scene now is double track and the hill the track curves under to the left supports the highway that bridges over the railway just out of the scene. Nearing Redpass I don't think there is as sharp a curve but I could be wrong.

The second picture is the crossovers at English which is east of Jasper. Roger would have gone a serious hike to get this vantage point.

You may be right but when i worked at redpass in 1963 there never was a siding at moose lake although I think in the 50s there  was a station and siding

correction to previous message.  The next station east of repass jct was rainbow and it was on a straight strech of track alongside moose lake  and had a passing siding
